Introduction
Permacast manufactured a range of polished precast concrete edge seating units for the Elizabeth Quay redevelopment. The seating featured a high-quality finish and was designed to accommodate a variety of radius curves to complement the Quay’s distinctive waterfront design. In total, Permacast produced 104 curved seating units and 199 straight units, each meeting the project’s demanding aesthetic and structural requirements. The result contributed to the delivery of one of Perth’s most recognisable public spaces, showcasing precision craftsmanship and attention to architectural detail.
