Introduction

Permacast supplied a range of specialised precast and prestressed concrete components for the Gateway WA project, enhancing the strength, durability, and safety of the infrastructure. The scope included prestressed concrete bridge planks, gas protection trench units, wing beams and planks for the Horrie Miller Overpass, fascia panels, precast column formwork, and bridge parapet panels. Each element was engineered to meet stringent structural and durability requirements, contributing to the resilience and longevity of the bridges and associated structures. Through precision manufacturing and careful coordination, Permacast’s products played a key role in delivering one of Western Australia’s landmark transport projects.
